Just soaking up the baby goodness

Well my little man is home and I am loving it. I'm still a little anxious and he spends the majority of his time in his sling because I can't bear to be away from him but we are all doing well. The kids adjusted to having him much better than I thought and so far there hasn't been any major jealousy or other badness. I am starting to get going dying and carding and spinning again, and I've got a ton of things to post about as I have time so there will probably be more than one in a day sometimes. Anyway, here is a picture of my guy. We named him Cassius.

The roughest month of my life

Well, I know that I kind of disappeared for a while, At the beginning of September my water broke early ( I wasn't due until nov. 9th) and I was put into the hospital. On the 17th I had the newest addition to our family, Cassius Sullivan Shaw. He weighed 5lbs 1 oz. and is mostly healthy.
I haven't felt much like blogging (or anything else) lately. He is still in the nursery and we are making the almost 2 hour drive to the hospital on a daily basis.
This has been a really hard last month and right now we are just trying to get through each day.
I am slowly trying to get everything back to normal though right now I'm kind of just going through the motions.
Hopefully this nightmare will all be over with soon, it's taken it's toll on all of us.
